高明柱,1952年生人,中共党员,字敬之,号寻径斋,河南邓州人,居北京。书法家,诗人,国学大师,国宾礼形象大使,国家高级书法师,中国非物质文化遗产传承人物。获书法艺术硕士学位、法兰西皇家美术学院艺术学博士学位,苏富比研究所研究员。
Gao
Mingzhu, born in 1952, is a member of the Communist Party of China,
whose word is Jingzhi and whose name is Xunjingzhai. He is born in
Dengzhou, Henan Province and lives in Beijing. Calligrapher, poet,
master of Chinese studies, ambassador of national guest ceremony,
national senior calligrapher, and inheritor of Chinese intangible
cultural heritage. He received a master’s degree in calligraphy art, a
doctor’s degree in art from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in France,
and a researcher at Sotheby’s Institute.

高明柱先生受祖辈的影响和熏陶,自幼酷爱书法、诗词,先后毕业于河南书法函授院,中国书协书法培训中心研修班,上世纪60年代先生执笔学习楷书、隶书、篆书及毛主席诗词手书,80年代始临习王羲之书法及历代名家书法,数十年如一日默默耕耘,临池不辍。在创作过程中善于汲取前人的经验和艺术精华,主张艺术源于生活,从平凡的生活中挖掘素材,擅长观察思考、提炼、升华,并获取创作灵感,师古不泥,大胆创新,经过反复锤炼,逐步形成了用笔圆润,线条流畅,潇洒飘逸的艺术风格,创作出大量为人称道的优秀作品。受到了范曾、沈鹏、权希军、欧阳中石、张海等老一辈艺术家的高度评价。
Influenced
and edified by his ancestors, Mr. Gao Mingzhu loved calligraphy and
poetry since childhood. He graduated from Henan Calligraphy
Correspondence Institute and the calligraphy training center of China
Calligraphy Association. In 1960s, Mr. Gao studied regular script,
official script, seal script and calligraphy of Chairman Mao’s poetry.
In 1980s, he began to study Wang Xizhi’s calligraphy and calligraphy of
famous artists from all previous dynasties. He worked quietly for
decades and never stopped coming to the pool. In the creative process,
he is good at absorbing the experience and artistic essence of
predecessors, advocates that art originates from life, digs materials
from ordinary life, is good at observing, thinking, refining and
sublimating, and obtains creative inspiration. He learns from the past
and innovates boldly. After repeated tempering, he has gradually formed
an artistic style with round pens, smooth lines, chic and elegant, and
created a large number of outstanding works that are praised by people.
It was highly praised by artists of the older generation such as Fan
Ceng, Shen Peng, Quan Xijun, Ouyang Zhongshi and Zhang Hai.

范曾先生在人民大学国学开讲时提到高明柱是在“用心写字”并题“诗书皆佳”相赠。权希军先生在高明柱大红袍专辑的序言中写到:“高明柱先生的书法,从运笔、用墨、布局、章法等来看,其作品布局严谨而不呆板,灵动而不杂乱,行草挥洒自如,古韵悠长而刚柔并济。笔墨变化多姿,潇洒飘逸,既有浑厚苍劲的气劲,又有温柔秀雅的情韵,承传统于字里行间,出新度于法度之外。真正做到了思想性,艺术性,观赏性的统一,德艺双馨,已具有名家风范且能为其他书家创作提升提供了可凭借鉴的有益启示。”
Mr.
Fan Ceng mentioned that Gao Mingzhu was "writing with heart" and giving
gifts with the title "All poems and books are good" when he started his
lecture on Chinese studies at Renmin University. In the preface of Gao
Mingzhu’s Dahongpao album, Mr. Quan Xijun wrote: "Mr. Gao Mingzhu’s
calligraphy, from the point of view of stroke, ink, layout, composition,
etc., is rigorous in layout but not inflexible, smart but not messy,
free in grass-sweeping, and long in ancient rhyme. The pen and ink are
varied, chic and elegant, with both vigorous and vigorous spirit and
gentle and beautiful and elegant charm, inheriting tradition between the
lines and bringing forth new degrees beyond testimonies. It has truly
achieved the unity of ideology, artistry and appreciation, and has a
famous style and can provide useful enlightenment for other
calligraphers to create and improve. "

欧阳中石先生也精辟的评点其高明柱书法:“综观他的书法作品使人感到新而不薄,就【鸿图国韵】来说,华而不媚,成篇作品不失法度,少字作品不失大器,柔刚相济,雄秀并举,血肉丰满,结构天成。师古而不泥古,求新而不取宠。此乃众多古人铸于心、予以笔,集百家之长融于他自己。”博采众长的书法家高明柱,他的行草取毛体之狂放,融二王之韵致,摄米南宫之笔意,挥洒自如,活泼灵动,古韵悠长而刚柔并济,雅俗共赏,开一代行草风格。书法直取自然万象入书,大气磅礴,匠心独具,其作品大开大合而不失肃穆儒雅,潇洒飘逸而不失浑厚稳重,痛快淋漓而不失规矩法度,实可谓动中寓静,以静致动,静以动美,动因静生,妙趣无穷,苍静有力,气度非凡,美不胜收,有滚滚风云一泻千里之势,自成一体。

Ouyang Zhongshi also incisively commented on Gao Mingzhu’s calligraphy:
"Looking at his calligraphy works, people feel new and not thin. As far
as [Hongtu national rhyme] is concerned, it is flashy and not
flattering, and the finished works do not lose their testimonies, while
the works with few characters do not lose their grandeur, and the
softness and hardness are mutually beneficial, while the male and the
female show are simultaneously, with full flesh and blood and natural
structure. Learn from the ancient instead of the mud, and seek new
things instead of gaining favor. This is because many ancient people
cast their hearts and give them pens, and they gather the strengths of
hundreds of families into themselves. " Gao Mingzhu, a calligrapher who
learned from others, took the wild style of his hair, blended with the
charm of two kings, and took the brushwork of Minang Palace. He was
free, lively and clever, with a long ancient rhyme and a combination of
rigidity and softness, enjoying both elegance and vulgarity. Calligraphy
takes everything from nature into the book. It is magnificent and
unique in originality. Its works are grand and elegant without losing
solemnity and elegance, chic and elegant without losing vigorous and
steady, stirring without losing rules and testimonies. It can be said
that it is quiet in motion, actuated by static, moved by static and
beautiful, the motivation is quiet, interesting, quiet and powerful,
extraordinary in bearing, beautiful, and unique in itself.

当代评论家玉山先生则评其高明柱书法称道:“高明柱的行草书,取毛体之豪放,融二王之遒劲,摄米南宫之率意欹险,行笔婉转流畅,洒脱自然,笔锋颖脱,墨线内转外拓,大开大合,露锋以纵其神,藏锋以包其势,字字之间或欹斜、映带、揖让、向背、偃仰、错落奇崛,勾连首尾,上下呼应,纵横布局,跳宕回环,一气贯注,势不可挡。通篇之下而又绵绵不绝,如江流绕芳甸,豪畅奔流。笔墨疾徐纵横,如激雷跳荡,风卷残云,字态龙腾虎跃,惊蛇入草,飞鸟入林,而收笔又无往不复,无垂不缩。除草书外,高明柱的行书遒厚丰润,格调清新,结字笔画均承法度而又新颖独到,呈现出清润秀逸、儒雅朴茂、高古邵秀之美”。

Yushan, a contemporary critic, commented on Gao Mingzhu’s calligraphy:
"Gao Mingzhu’s cursive script, taking the boldness of his hair, melting
the enthusiasm of the two kings, taking the rate of Minang Palace is
dangerous, and his pen is tactfully smooth, free and easy, and his pen
is clever. The ink line turns to the outside, and it is wide-ranging. Lu
Feng is the god, and Tibetan Feng is the potential. Or between words,

Fangdian and flowing freely. The pen and ink are swift and violent,
such as thunder jumping and swaying, the clouds are scattered, the words
are leaping, the snakes are in the grass, the birds are in the forest,
and the pen is never lost. In addition to cursive script, Gao Mingzhu’s
running script is thick and rich, with fresh style, and the knot strokes
are all legal and novel and original, showing the beauty of elegance,
